We’re in a wonderful location. We're in the Teme Valley, where three of the most picturesque counties, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire, meet.
The medieval town of Ludlow is well-known for its fabulous restaurants – and every day, there’s a market of one sort or another. In September, the whole town celebrates the best of local produce at the Ludlow Food Festival. And there’s Ludlow Castle, one of the first stone castles to be built in England, and nearby Stokesay Court, which played a starring role in the film ‘Atonement’. To the south, Leominster and Bromyard are famous for their vast array of antique shops.
Our local town, Tenbury Wells is known as the “town in the orchard”, an ideal point for picking up the local cider route. Tenbury also has a lovely selection of independent shops and a striking art-deco theatre / cinema, The Regal.
The National Trust has several properties and spectacular gardens in the area. Berrington Hall, Brockhampton Estate and the walled garden at Croft Castle near Leominster are well worth a visit. Or follow the Black & White Villages Trail, through some of the country’s prettiest villages.
We’re surrounded by beautiful countryside – perfect for walking, driving or simply relaxing. The Long Mynd and Church Stretton are close by, offering great walks and truly amazing views.
We think this is a truly special little spot – with something for everyone. Visit us – and see what we mean.
